Now that you have met Otis and I am
preparing the book for publication, I'd like to
fast forward to a page from the last chapter.

This is my first book so I would much appreciate any help regarding
prospective publishers etc. Like most things I have set out to do in this life, I
am reasonably clueless yet decidedly eager...
Meanwhile, I have moved into topics with my guide which are less about me
and more about the state of affairs in the world today, with a focus on creative
spiritual solutions to the madness that is modern life.
As I have been following the Mayan codes for each day for several years
now, they are listed at times along with the Gregorian or standard date.

It must be said that reading these daily codes has had a direct bearing
on my ability to connect with my guide, who is also my higher self.
Although I was following Jose's system for four years, upon meeting sacred
years, I have come to understand that although Jose is a brilliant pioneer, there
is also another, older system that has the full sanction of the Mayan Council of
Elders.
The daily codes are the same but the decoding of personal birth signs is altered.

This is the foreword written by Otis to our second book entitled simply "H.U.M.A.N.S."
Greetings fellow travelers !
What is it to be human ? This question can be answered in any number of ways, as can all questions. The way it is answered will depend upon that which you seek in the asking. My sister has in mind that the human race is straying far from it's natural self and that a return to a less mechanized and mechanistic world and self view will be of great assistance.
Be that as it may, from our perspective you are all perfectly situated in your present stage of evolution and all is in order. The quantum leap you so fervently seek is already in place in your probable future.
Your part is simply to accept your role as a collective of co-creators in this planetary mind, body and soul being. As such, you are being given guidance, assistance and inspiration from us, the many enlightened protectors, well wishers and indeed forefathers of your planet and race.
As is the case on your planet, there are those among
our number who have lost their way, shed their lightness
of being and with it the crystal clarity which reflects the source of all creation which we refer to as Divine Love, Order or Life itself, that which you term God.
As such, these beings have been waging a battle against all that the creation stands upon, against harmony itself
and as a result they have lost their ability to love.
This saddens us in a sense and yet in order for the
Divine Play to unfold, this is also perfectly in order from our perspective.
As you negotiate your way through the myriad of
choices you face on a daily basis, remember this one thing :
YOU HAVE THE ABILITY TO CHOOSE DIVINITY IN EACH MOMENT.
If you have forgotten how to do this, you are not alone. To remind you we are here. That is our intention and that is
the purpose of this book.

Gabi: Good morning Otis! This morning I have been wondering if it is
wise to read and watch movies about the would-be controllers of the world?
Otis: Morning glories to you dear friend and other self! Yes, by all means educate yourself with the many stories and experiences of people who
are attempting to get to the truth, to awaken from a conditioned state of slave-mentality and passive gullibility regarding these important topics.
The excellent presentation you saw last night is an example of thought-provoking fact collecting that constitutes actual proof that those in power are holding back from you a vast array of useful technology, as well as operating from a strategic plan that is set in place to benefit the few at the expense of the many and is based in a creed of greed, not growth for your planet. (Otis is referring to the movie "Esoteric Agenda")
Gabi: It is interesting to me that the sci-fi movies of the last 20 years or so use some of these "sinister elite/alien agenda/secret government" type scenarios mixed with great special effects and spoofy comedy dialogue.
This seems to me to have the effect on the general public of creating
a tendency to consider the whole idea of cover-ups and conspiracies as foolish fiction or paranoia, therefore, even when documented accounts
are presented, they are almost automatically dismissed as fairytales, despite all evidence to the contrary.
For instance, hundreds of people and 3 skyscrapers were reduced to DUST right in front of our eyes in the 9/11 disastar, all in a matter of minutes, yet we are asked to believe that a couple of small planes did this? THIS IS CRAZY!!!!! And yet most people are so innocent that they really cannot imagine that the media would cover something like this up, let alone the government, even though with a little digging anyone can find out that the media world-wide is owned by the same corporate elite who made billions of dollars in the ensuing war on Iraq.
I am wondering what practical things we can do to protect ourselves, increase our awareness and also our ability to discern the truth about these disturbing world events? It's becoming increasingly difficult to sort the fact from the fiction, particularly as the truth is truly turning out to
be stranger than fiction!
Otis: I know at times you all feel as if you are small and powerless in the face of war, oppression and greedy corporate "giants" who seem to be stealing the peace from your world, along with the bulk of the resources.
Yet the spiritual awakening that has already taken root in your collective consciousness, when it reaches critical mass in response to crises only barely apparent as yet, will generate that which is tantamount to atomic energy. The power which each of you as individuals house is
not to be ignored nor down-played my friend, even though as yet it is still largely dormant and awaiting your awareness to activate it, first individually, then en masse.
I know it sounds out of reach to your mind, but you must first see
your power WITHIN your mind, your mundane sphere and your emotional zone.
Then you must be open to the possibility that you have, hidden within you, a complete nuclear power-plant, as it were, and that when many of you gather and stand united in focus upon your desired outcome, you can truly accomplish anything.
You may feel far from this at present, yet that is why we encourage you to use all your intelligence, all your knowledge and all your resources to know yourselves, your power, your Divine creative faculty.
The main practice that will benefit at this stage of your development
is to simply practice casting out all fear, for the truth is that when fear is present you become easily controlled by outside forces. When fear is absent, you are naturally and wonderfully CREATIVE.

This next passage was dictated to me by Otis while I was busy researching. He made me stop what I was doing and write it down on a scrap of paper, not in our usual workbook or at the allotted time. As this was highly unusual and he has never insisted before, I did as he asked. When it was done he informed me it was for the back cover of the book.
I include it here as it seems to be relevant.
Dear earth children,
You live in a time when your race can be compared to young teenagers, always looking to be loved, fed, helped, amused, catered to and told what to do most of the time.
Just like children entering this teenage status, you complain bitterly
at times about the controlling forces in your world who seem to have
hold of the reins, impeding your natural desire for freedom.
And yet, if you really look around you at your fellow beings, you cannot help but see how basically immature most of you are, on both the mental and emotional levels.
It is true that there has been a millenia-old concentrated campaign to keep you in your baby-like state by those who wish to use you as free labor, and yet your only real hope of escape is to become as grown-up
as those you have unwittingly allowed to parent you far longer than necessary.
You appear to us only now ready to take a step into responsibility for your own collective destiny. You will need those whom we have sent to take birth among you, those awakened and evolved, to help you to understand the truth of what is going on in in your world and what you can do about it.
Your future collective destiny truly depends on only one thing - awakening to your own power lying dormant within.
The elements needed for you to achieve this are all around you. All knowledge will be magnetisedtoyou andby you at such a time as you resonate with it as energy conducters.
Doubt, fear and superstition are really all that stand between you and anything you can conceive of.
This is the truth and will indeed set you free.

Otis on our connection to earth and the coming changes...
(taken from our second book "H.U.M.A.N.S", the chapter "Healing the Wounded Self")
The main concern is to bring all of your aspects together to send healing to the earth's wounds. As you do this, your own wounds will be healing proportionately because you and the earth are one.
The source of all creation formulated each of you, surrounded each of you with energies of creation, permeated you with divine powers of creative growth and harmoniously balanced you, in tune, as it were, with the planet.
Therefore if you use these very abilities and apply them to the solving of any apparent problem, you will be led to a myriad of ways to solve each problem, even that of healing the earth.
You may think that you and the earth are two separate beings, you may even perceive the earth to be a dead rock in space which you simply exist upon yet, while embodied
in any form upon the earth you are in symbiotic connection.
You may envisage any format with which to accomplish your healing of planet earth, whether individually or within groups, yet if healing the
earth is your intention then also shall the self receive healing directly parallel.
Even should you choose to simply focus exclusively upon your individual healing, the earth will heal in concert with you, as the wound of the earth is simply a reflection of the wounded consciousness of the human race.
The animals and plants also carry a kind of memory of trauma, but as you alleviate your own fear and suffering, the instinctual nature of the creatures who look to you for reflection will be reassured and also eventually healed.
There are many changes shaking up your world, yet you have the capacity to be fearless throughout all turmoil. In fact your very survival is linked to your capacity to overcome fear and find creative solutions.
This may sound a little vague and "New Age" to some of you, yet it is and has always been the case that fear blocks higher awareness and non-fear or love attracts it in a magnetic sense. Therefore, as always, as you remove fear the solutions to all problems will arise within your
conscious awareness.
