FIRST CONTACT Was my first session really contact with a guide from other realms or just my great imagination? I did my best to use third eye vision and write down my impressions. It's ten years since I tried these kind of meditation techniques so I am a bit rusty. The book I am using ("Opening to Channel" by Sanaya Roman and Duane Packer) says to get the guide to give me a name and ask some general questions. I go into meditation, deep breath.... O.K....
GABI: Hello guide ! What is your name ?
GUIDE: It is hard to define... you could translate it as "Eye of Love" or "Evolve through the Eye".....Oric, Orion, Otieth......many names have Eye! Orac, Oriac, Oru, Horus...please choose as appeals to your aesthetic sense, dear one.
GABI: How about Otis ? I like that name.
GUIDE: As you wish.
GABI: Do you have a connection with the Egyptian "Eye of Horus" ?
OTIS: Indeed. You have long been connected to me and I am one of those of the Loving Eye you call Horus. A small eye am I. We are many eyes with which to evolve love.
GABI: O.K. Here is my first official question, Otis. How might people bring more light into their lives ?
OTIS: It is through the eye that love is perceived and exchanged. To create it is unnecessary, just become aware of it. Your whole being is built from this light vibration. Remove the dross through focus on all that is uplifting and light will emerge from the core of each cell.
Love is the emotional equivalent of light, the condition of natural energy. Ask and you will be enlightened in all areas. Your higher self knows how to help you and stands ever ready to teach you how to enrich your life with love, which is light.
We will not interfere, yet all help will be given to lighten you up each and every time you ask for assistance. We are honored to assist and infuse you with light frequencies from our realm.
GABI: Thank you ! Otis, what is the purpose of learning to connect with beings such as yourself and how will it help me and mankind ?
OTIS: Light brother's wisdom will open energy doorways to new experience. Very rapid light vibrations invigorate the cells of the body, expand the mind and elevate awareness on all levels. This will be experienced as an increase in well-being and wisdom.
The company of friends in high places brings many benefits! We are not separate but connected to all life. You will begin to remember this soon and your original state of joy will begin to reveal itself within you.
I am not "separate" even though I am an individual personality of light energy. I am always aware of my full connection to all life through my evolution of vision over many eons of that which you perceive as time. Therefore I am more "eye" than "i". We are truly all connected on the web of love.
When you remember this connection you feel safe and loved. Conversely, when you forget and you are in the small "I" of aloneness you feel small and sad, and the "eye" becomes darkened in that state, the universal vision of life is temporarily hidden from view. Our desire is to assist you to remember.
GABI: Thanks again. My next question is : does every relationship have a purpose, is all you see in another a reflection of yourself ? Also, by changing yourself can you change the relationship ?
OTIS: OF course. Just as you have a relationship to the cushion you are resting on, all you come in contact with can be used to educate you, to evolve your consciousness. What can the pillow teach you ? That everything IS in relationship to everything else. You feel comfort in relation to the cushion, therefore the relationship is one of comforter to comforted.
Every object, circumstance and being you come into contact with can teach you something if that is your focus : what can I learn, how can this evolve me ? You may need to develop the eye to see the lesson, but it is always there for you on many different levels.
What is this eye ? It is simply the desire and focus to be in a constant state of spiritual evolution. This means being open to each moment's lesson, mirror and relationship, coupled with the desire to grow and evolve through the lesson.
We are all connected, in harmony. When you experience disharmony, your challenge is to re-attune yourself to the harmony, like learning to sing in key more accurately. If you take up this practice of fine-tuning, retuning and attuning yourself to all you encounter in your daily life, wherever you find yourself you will hear beautiful music, as it were, because you yourself will be harmonious.

GABI: Hello Otis. Today I am having doubts about all this ! I have always had a great imagination and I am pretty sure you are just a figment of it. But I am too curious to let it go that easily. Besides, I enjoy our conversations, even if you are and I am crazy ! If I am talking to a part of myself then at least I am talking to someone interesting for a change! But in all seriousness, how can one tell if one is really channeling a "spirit guide" ?
OTIS: Firstly, you have the whole sense of a denser energy vibration around your head and neck, do you not ? Then there is the sensation of the crown chakra "sparking up", as if a flame is being liton top of your head. You are also seeing the elongated pyramid with your third eye. More will be explained about this in so called time. The only way you will satisfy your curiosity is to ask me questions and allow me to give you the guidance you require from a guide, then I will have a chance to earn this title.
GABI: OK. Can I ask about a business venture ?
OTIS: Of course, anything.
GABI: How can I best be of help in the music festival we are putting on ?
OTIS: First you must delineate exact parameters on paper, how many musicians, venues, time frames etc. This will give you a blueprint that is physical, already made manifest in the third dimension so to speak.
Next, you must ask for help wherever it is needed, including for financial help. Why do you find this so difficult dear one ? The very worst that can occur is that someone may say no. This is nothing to fear, and someone will eventually say yes if you are bold enough to keep asking. There are those around you all who are favourable to your cause who will help. You lesson is learning to ask for what you want instead of beating around the bush. Ego will not serve you here. Make a list of the potentially favorable people and ask them outright for the monies needed.
There are also specific events you can hold prior to your festival to raise funds. You yourself can hold a clear picture of the day as you would ideally like to see it manifest. Flesh it out in asmuch detail and color as you are able. Hold this picture "in the light" and then ask for step by step help. Always remember you true objective : to bring music and unity to your region.
Your enthusiasm is magnetic, as is your fear. Do not give mental pictures of unwanted outcomes any energy at all if they begin to form. Ignore what appears to be standing in your way, so to speak. You have the ability to perfect this very precise and conscious creativity.
